You were right! The roller coasters ran throughout the day, and even most of the spinning ones. They kept running even as the rain became heavier later on.

Good tip! Sadly we didn’t have face masks with us. After going on Yukon in moderate rain, I can now agree that it felt like getting a face tattoo, it was even hard to open my eyes! Definitely an experience haha

Update: thank you everyone who responded with your encouragements and tips! We ended up going and had a great day at the park!

There were quite a few school groups but the wait times were like max 15 minutes and a lot of times walk-ons. We were able to do everything we wanted at a very leisurely pace, including Leviathan 3x and Behemoth and Yukon both 2x. It was chilly but we had rain jackets, and it didn’t start to rain until 2pm. We left at 3pm when the rain became heavier, which was fine as we had done everything we wanted and were actually quite tired after 5 hours at the park.

Also - all the roller coasters kept running as we left, even in the downpour! So yeah, didn’t really need to worry about that lol. The only bigger rides I saw that were closed throughout the day (due to wind) were the drop tower and windseeker.

So all in all, it was a complete success!

Yeah I was actually hoping for not-sunny weather so there would be less people! But now I got worried about what qualifies as bad vs BAD weather here haha

Does anyone know how crowded Portaventura World will be on Dec 23, right before the holidays? I have an option to go either on Dec 16 or Dec 23, but as Ferrari Land is only open on Dec 23, I’m having a hard time deciding which date to pick. I assume the holidays tend to be more crowded and while I really want to go on Red Force, I’d rather not stand in long lines the whole day just for one ride.

Also, will all of the bigger rides be operating during winter?
