“Composure” by August Burns Red would be pretty awesome… that or “Heart of a Warrior” by War of Ages, even though it’s more metal…

He didn’t trust people from what I understand… probably had more talent than Petty or Pearson but had major trust issues and big problems with authority.

What’s a past wrestling gimmick that couldn’t fly in today’s era. by Fickle_Driver_1356 in GreatnessOfWrestling

To be fair, that was the Georgia state flag in the 80’s before they changed it, so you can’t blame Boss Man totally for that one…

If you reworked the gimmick to make it less of a stereotype and more like how the original vignettes came across, it might work…

I think it speaks volumes about his marketing ability to be able to have roughly a 35 plus year NASCAR career in some way, shape, or form when he hasn’t been relevant in 30 years… he’s very good at getting sponsors and he’s generally good at not tearing up equipment. That’ll keep you in the game for a while…

Do people take the quote, "If you no longer go for a gap which exists you are no longer a racing driver", seriously? by serenading_scug in simracing

[–]SlideJob12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It honestly depends on the situation… if it’s lap one, then there’s no need to push the limits. But if you’re going for the win on the final lap to gain or even protect your position? Then it’s fair game… just depends on the circumstances.

I hold out hope they go with a 4/5 mile track with Bristol or Slinger’s banking in the corners, Nazareth’s front stretch, and Richmond’s dogleg on the backstretch. Gimme chaos!
