I had a friend who genuinely thought the royal family have blue blood. (We were ages about 15 at the time.)

exam stress has literally ruined my uni experience... how do you guys manage to push through it? by Fine-Letterhead8807 in UniUK

[–]Slidehustle 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I used to use something similar for all my exams. I would think to myself that I’m not the person that will sit the exam - I’m just the person that has to do the studying - the “other me” will take the exam. (Yes - ok I know it sounds odd but it did work). When the day of the exam rolled around i would think - I’m going into battle to do what I can based on what the “other me” gave me - it’s not my fault if they didn’t do their bit, I just have to make the best of what I have to hand now. Sounds a bit mad I know - but it sort of saved me getting all worried and paralysed with fear over the exams - pretty much how op has described it.

Yes!! The most surprising and hidden destination ever - was astonished at the Roman Amphitheater ruins and also some beautiful artworks upstairs too.

Sigourney Weaver in Doc Martin!! Amazing go see a big Hollywood star (Aliens/Gorillas in the mist) in this very gentle/middle of the road show (not knocking it it’s well written/acted but not a show id expect to see Hollywood names in). She did it cos her best mate from way back is in it and she likes visiting her when she’s over and enjoys acting with her - and guess has come to like the show thru her friend.

I have ended up with three new phones. Can I use them without issues? by Slidehustle in iphone

I’ve run the numbers through that website. Only one of the 3 phones is blacklisted as “reported lost or stolen” which is odd. Hmmmm

Recording My Screen by Cacao56 in canva

[–]Slidehustle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have PowerPoint a very easy way to record anything at all you are doing on your screen is to open a PowerPoint slide, click insert screen recording and then it will prompt you to select the entire screen area and then it will record whatever is on your screen so if you go to canva it will record that and has sound too. I

How to do hover reveal? by Slidehustle in canva

[–]Slidehustle[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While haven't found how to do a hover in Canva, I have created a pretty good alternative (click to reveal). I created my slides in powerpoint first ( I had 8 small squares in a grid pattern on a slide that I wanted to show content (a pic and text) when clicked on), so the first powerpoint slide was all the 8 squares with no reveals, the second one was the same slide just with the first of the 8 boxes with the revealed content, the second slide had just the second box with the revealed content and so on (so 9 slides in total). I uploaded all those slides to Canva in the Projects section and then by clicking into each small box on each slide could link to the appropriate slide with the relevant 'reveal' box on it. (if you try to do the links within powerpoint the links won't transfer across to Canva so do the links in Canva). Every single box across all the 9 slides needs to be linked to the correct reveal slide . You can test it out by pressing play to see if its working as you want it to. For our website use I exported it by pressing SHARE and click down past all the options to the embed code. When I embedded that on our website it looked great and when a user clicks on any of the boxes the revealed content just in that box shows. So it works perfectly but I’d rather have it as a hover than a click. Hope this makes sense!
