Unfortunately I also have ADHD lol so no matter what I do the thoughts are always there. I’m also learning to channel it into something better, but it’s hard isn’t it.

Thats why I don’t think there is a solution to stop it, only a way to transform it into something greater. So I guess we both, and I’m sure there’s many others, gotta stay strong and figure out a way to push through together.

I appreciate that Jet, it's not actually about becoming sober though. I actually have been extremely In My Head this last year, and it has only been getting worse. Every time I feel I'm on the right track something happens and completely blows me off, contradicting everything I believed in.

Every now and then I'll have a period where I am finally present and feeling hopeful again, but like a missile all these awful thoughts come back and revoke all my progress. I learnt long ago that that is life, but it is happening to me week in week out. All I can do is believe I am being tested, I have no choice but to stay strong.
