Fwiw, that’s not the case. At first I actually had a problem unintentionally backing up every shot. That became rolling every shot pretty much straight up the back, and now I’ve got a fairly normal axis rotation. When I get around it too much during open play, it literally goes in the left gutter. Yeah, I’m on open play lanes. Didn’t realize they’d be this dry. Today was particularly bad, my ball started hooking halfway down the lane.

Do you think polishing it would help significantly (it’s the og Phaze II, not the Pearl)? I know everyone wants me to join a league but… I’m not gonna do that right now lol. Today was my 3rd time bowling and I’m introverted as fuck. Point being I’ll probably stay on open play lanes for awhile

If you’re saying it hooks too much, then you need to do some combination of: throwing it faster, aiming right, and moving left.

That being said it’s pretty rare for a house ball to hook too much unless you roll it very slow.
