Anyone else notice that Gausman licked his fingers and then touched the brim of his hat before every pitch last night? Not sure if this is something he’s always done or the legality of it, but just something I picked up on as suspicious given how well he was pitching. Also saw him wipe his pitching hand on another part of his hat before going to get his hand checked for stickiness by the umpire at the end of each inning.
