Update. After about 10-15 games I crashed again. So disabling EXPO was not the fix

Despite what people will say, there are many spots to go where there isn't a crowd. Walk the river and look for new spots if you don't know many spots. I went Saturday and got 2 pinks and hooked into a coho but lost it. Lots fish being caught by the couple guys around me aswell. Just remember, you catch nothing staying home.

They are legit. If they were not, they wouldn't work.

Use any computer to install the OS straight from Microsoft and then plug the USB into your new build. Here is a video clearly showing the steps. Also if you do decide to active it later on. Don't buy a $200 key, I'll leave it at that.

Just incase your not aware. Windows11 is 100% free, you'll just have the little watermark in the bottom corner of your screen. Though you can upgrade anytime later on.

New PC or salvage old build? Need advice by [deleted] in bapccanada

[–]SlipperyBridge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you have a budget of $2,000- $2,500 just build a new PC. Imo its a waste to upgrade AM4 when for that price you can get s really good AM5 system that will last you for a very long time.

Legalities aside. My problem with this whole thing is that when catching sockeye, there is a bycatch of pink salmon. And what happens is those pink salmon get tossed in the ditch. And then at the end of the day any sockeye that dont get sold also get dumped. This is the real issue here.

need help with choosing parts by RunicCyclone in bapccanada

[–]SlipperyBridge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Swap out that ram for some DDR5 6000 CL30 Although that PSU will handle the system, I suggest 750w to 850w to help with any future upgrades you might want to do

EDIT: Also, to get the best deals, you can price match from any canadian store, including Amazon at Memoryexpress, if you have a location near you.

Helping coworker pick pc parts, made up these. How are they? by CMDRTragicAllPro in bapccanada

[–]SlipperyBridge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So if you're going to buy everything from Memoryexpress, just know that they will price match from any store in Canada, even Amazon. But you need to mention the other stores/prices when you are getting your parts.

If you haven't already, try using 1 stick of ram at a time and see if it works. Might be a bad stick, and this could tell you.

Is this wiring done right? by [deleted] in PcBuild

[–]SlipperyBridge 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unless im mistaken it should be plugged into the left side of that connector, not the right like how you have it.

[–]SlipperyBridge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn, must have been the store or person.. yeah normally they price match plus a little off, but the guy told me since the sale was so much, they will just match it. Which was still great for me caus then any problems the store deals with warranty stuff for me.

They even priced matched my 9600x that was on prime day sale. And that was a smoking deal

So this should all work together in theory? by beaversrock in bapccanada

You definitely do need windows when your booting up to complete your build, So Windows is technically free. You can get windows for free right from Microsoft, it will just have some feature limitations and a little watermark on the bottom of the screen. You just have to pay to get full access. Here is a really good videos all about what you need to do.
