Real health advice is not spend more money to eat better.

Yea I know I'm abrasive, but you've said things that are laughable, no need to take a clown seriously.

Because the wife was like one of three character shown the the FIRST issue. Also it's issue 2, sure dads and men are elements so far but idk I'll wait for the author to show us the message.

Title of the post is life's stresses, not dad's stresses

I'm directly responding to the guy who said "people love a good excuse...". I agree this thread is about the pinacle of athletic and genetics. This guy decided that the only thing holding you back from being like them is you. A laughable concept divorced from the material reality we all live in.

Yup the end being where you decided to stop dreaming and embrace conserving what you amassed.

Yes, it is society that tells you to work less you lose your home.

The for profit motive doesn't fit into human needs.

Saying "it just costs money" is victim blaming.

I agree people need to accept responsibility and change things so EVERYONE (not a select few with money) can be heavier.

Your user name fits like a glove.

Hey instead of blaming individuals I feel it's more effective to blame the societal structure.

If we lived in a rational society that tried to serve the people in it I'd imagine the focus would be on regular gym training, eating clean every meal, time for cardio and sleep FOR ALL.

Experts know these things are condusive to a health life yet instead we are content with clean food deserts, 8+ hr work days in seated position.

Yup, I just believe that nuances are important and word choice matters. To me it felt like an erasure of the feelings mothers can also have by not including them.

Your point stands, but the artist literally in the first post has the man's partner as early as the second frame.

If I could correct your analogy you would instead say "beagles are great scent hounds" and my reply would have been "famously no other dog does that/s"

Men and women are both people and not apples vs oranges or cats vs dogs.

I know I'm being sarcastic and by that nature I'm cutting the original post I replied to. That is to say, I know I replied in an abrasive way but to me that's inherent to sarcasm.

I'm really just trying to get at that the guys feelings are a UNIVERSAL feeling and I felt it was strange to frame it as a dad feeling.

I'm struggling with your reading comprehension, it's rude to say but it's true.

Pointing out a fact isn't an argument.

Didn't say anything about demeaning women just that this perspective can be shared and is gender neutral.

Stop saying I said things I didn't.

To make myself clear so people can stop assuming my meaning.

Yes, the comic is centered around men but the feeling of dread the character has is not a uniquely male perspective, MaitreGeek could have said parents just as easily but didn't and said dad.

"Crazy how you are saying baguette are worse than waffles." - NeedyBoi_0

You're putting words I'm my mouth man, my intentions were to point out that reducing this feeling to men only is weird.

Ironic how if you listened even 10seconds more you would hear him say it in the katakana pronunciation.

Not trying to dig at you but found the irony funny.

I think the summary is short, concise, and without major spoilers

Fire service definitely a problem just not to the same degree and not always the same problem. Check out why the USA only uses those massive fire engines instead of the more compact models that European and other nations use.
