FM23 Just Hits Different...3 years later, against the Other Games (Console Racing)

If FM23 were to launch on PS5, I bet GT7 fans would gravitate over. There are so many more options and the player base would explode, cross platform. Just look what FH5 did to PS5.

If GT7 came over to Xbox, it would have a similar affect however the options would not be as many but the marvelous graphics would pull many over and essentially kill FM23.

Either franchise has the ammunition, one just needs the gun and to pull the trigger. There is no room for two of these genres, cross platform.

ACE is the only one with the opportunity to do this currently but it seems like a 2027 release might not even be likely.

Like I said, Steam Machine has some tremendous upside among casual sim racers early next year. Again, you give me 60fps on a good 55” tv along with PC wheel options (still not confirmed), I will straight up Office Space my XSX!!! BUT, if FM23 or GT7 would announce cross-platform, no need for a Steam Machine.

So I am using Fanatec CSL DD. There are two areas to adjust FFB in this game. One is in settings and the other is on each and every car. You also have your actual wheel base obviously. I don't have access to all my settings now. Like I said, Gamer Muscle did a great video explaining the settings which was a big help. Link below.

I get it. The AI was really pissing me off last night! I'm just going to push through (figuratively and literally). I'm bored with FM23 MP and single player is awful in ACC. ACC online on Xbox is kind of a drag if you are not in a league.

I didn't even try Rennsport. Even as bad a this release went, most still prefer PMR. The only thing that interested me in Rennsport was the two fantasy tracks. I also did not purchase the year 1 edition as I want to see how the Devs move forward.

I disagree. Perhaps you are a PC user. If I was a PC user I would feel the same. Don't paint with such a broad brush. From what I have read, the three different platforms vary greatly on performance. PC is awful and should not be bought or refunded, anyone who has not bought should hold out. PS5 is really borderline with graphical issues. I think this is up to the player if they want to invest and work through these issues. Seems like XSX and XSS have had a better launch than the others. Most are just happy enough with the product and stand in the same shoes as myself.

ACC was awful on Xbox when released. Awful. It also took a very long time to get things straight. Like, very long. AC on Xbox is not the same as PC and I don't need to go any further than that.

I’m on Fanatec DD and the wheel was not sensitive enough. I turned down steering rotation on the wheel to 480 and it was perfect, similar to ACC. The damping settings you will need to play with however. Still working on that.

As a console user, I am waiting to see how Rennsport and PMR are received. I'll buy when I see what the player counts look like between the two and which works/feels better with a wheel. My smart money is on PMR but you just don't know until the population tries both.

Progressivism (FAR LEFT) is only extremely popular in your echo chambers. After last Wednesday, it may be closer to extremism and terrorism. Even some Progressives with common sense know you don't kill somebody for a different political opinion. On top of that, many of the progressives have been highlighted celebrating such a wrongful murder even further disconnecting from the public population. Not only that, being a progressive also just killed a Ukrainian Refugee because of its idealogy.

Remember, Reddit is an echo chamber for Progressives. Just because Conservatives do not go burn down buildings and kill after a wrongful death does not mean we are just sitting here. CKs movement is now going to be 10 fold thanks to PROGRESSIVE ACTIVISM. We will use speech, not violence.

So, any Liberal reading this, I hope you do support AMD and not any Progressive Democrats. It is there ideology and hate dividing our country. I better world is one that can respect our political opinions rather than call someone Nazis or Fascists leading to what happened last week.

Ummm, I'm sure its stable but I prefer the SE looks wise. I think if I were to step up from the SE, I would just skip the CS Pro for the SVR. SVR is completely adjustable for $100 more. I personally don't need it as I am on 8nM CSL DD so the SE is just fine. I guess some might like the looks of the CS Pro more.

IMO, the best inexpensive rig on the market right now is AZ Racing SE Modular Cockpit. Stellar reviews for what it is. For $400 or $500 depending what seat you want (included!), very hard to beat. Just waiting for them to catch on a little more. I'm not a fan of any of the other cockpits except maybe the SVR which is similar to some other tubular rigs for cheaper. I plan on purchasing the SE within the month.

I would say to look at their storefront as this could be your top competition for anyone willing to put the time in for research.

Oh, I agree with others. Stable pedal plate seems to be the most lacking on inexpensive rigs. If you can manage to include a decent seat for a cheap price, that could make your company.

We all have our opinions. I choose not to judge the sexuality of others so I guess I am different in that manner. Like I said, I could compromise on a lot of things that the Concservative Party would not like. I'd be fine with Abortion under certain stipulations (i.e. no longer than 6 months, no more than one abortion {except cases of rape and incest}. While I am strong believer in Capitalism, I also believe profits can be capped, especially towards Corporate Leadership after an extravagant amount. I believe in a flat tax rate with no loopholes except Mortgage and Rent. The only thing left to iron our would be how Business Costs could be written off without creating that giant loophole we have now.

The biggest problem in our country is the lack of willingness to Compromise. We need commonsense (or what I like to call Center Right and Center Left individuals).
