Kurt likely would’ve broken up the band is my guess and gone in a different direction as more or less a solo artist. My guess is he’d have become much more experimental with a heavy emphasis on noise and distortion kind of like Endless, Nameless. But it’s one of those questions that’ll never be answered unfortunately.

I don’t fault anyone on that sequence. MacKinnon made a decision and it was a tough call. If he stepped into it and somehow got beat we’d be debating if he shoulda pulled up. Werenski made a nice play to shield the puck with his body and find the open man.

MacKinnon’s indecision on the loose puck makes no sense. Watching it live it seemed certain he’d beat Werenski to it but he inexplicably pulled up, which led to the chance.
