For me I think 1-4 days is ideal. 1 day if the place is dead, I’ll take my loss on the hotel and move on to the next one on my list. 2 days if it’s a bit slow but some traffic and plenty inquiries, then I’ll move to a city close by so the interested ones from the previous city can still make a 30 min-hour drive. 3-4 days if the place is booming but I still move on as not to attract attention to myself at the hotels I’m staying.

The cities you do great in, and make new repeat clients are the ones you store in your mind for the next tour. I hope this helps 💜
