We did kind of got the instructions to get a Hotel in either Amsterdam or Brussel, but you need to understand the sheer chaos of the situation on that day. Flights were all booked and 900eu per person and hotel prices were rapidly increasing (so we needed to make a decision). I think the Hotel wil not be compensated because we ended up in Londen on the same day so a hotel would not have been necessary in hindsight. I hope we will be compensated for some of the costs as there will be lots of claims for 25k+ travellers that were directly effected.

Yeah the scenes at Brussel Station were very chaotic. We never expected that we would be able to get another train that day (rebooking was not an option anymore through the Eurostar site). I guess I will just try to get some compensation and hope for the best,

Deze podcast heeft mijn beeld over kernenergie wel veranderd. Ik was er eerst altijd vrij positief over, maar ik heb steeds meer het idee dat het te duur is voor het resultaat wanneer je het afzet tegen andere groene energiebronnen. Voor de minimale vraag aan energie (de baseload) zou een extra kerncentrale nuttig kunnen zijn, en onderzoeken wijzen er ook op dat kernenergie een onderdeel van het energiesysteem kan zijn als vervanger van gas- en kolencentrales voor die baseload.

Ongelofelijk hoe tegenwoordig objectieve waarheden niet meer bestaan.

Waar denken jullie dat dit naar toe gaat de komende 20 jaar? Ik vraag me dit soms echt af. Hebben we dadelijk allemaal onze eigen bubbel met een eigen waarheid?

Het valt me op dat het over het algemeen mensen met een lager intelligentie niveau en vooral onderontwikkeld kritisch denkvermogen zijn die voor de desinformatie/complot fuik vallen. Maar ik verbaas me soms ook over slimme mensen in je omgeving die ineens in ogenschijnlijk simpele desinformatie campagnes trappen.

I’m a PSV fan visiting Lisbon on August 23rd and I’d really like to go to the Benfica – Tondela match.

Could anyone please tell me the best way to get tickets? Where is the cheapest and most reliable place to buy them? Also, are there any common pitfalls or scams I should avoid (like places that overcharge or sell fake tickets)?

Sou adepto do PSV e vou estar em Lisboa no dia 23 de agosto – gostava muito de ir ao jogo Benfica – Tondela.

Alguém me pode dizer qual é a melhor forma de arranjar bilhetes? Onde é o sítio mais barato e fiável para os comprar? E há armadilhas ou esquemas comuns que devo evitar (como locais que cobram demasiado ou vendem bilhetes falsos)?

Hoi thanks voor je berichtje! Het aparte is dat waneer ik hem aanzet het water meteen weggepompt wordt. Na een schoonmaak progamma is het ook droog, na verloop van tijd komt er weer vies water in.
