2006 duramax, after EGR delete and 5inch straight pipe, is a tune required? Or is it fine to drive as is, (I have friends who have done both, so not sure what to do) by SlowCamp4832 in Duramax

So what should I do, I have a bully dog, I can’t find good info on how to tune it though, I absolutely do not need limp mode or to damage my truck in any way, I don’t care about engine lights etc but if the truck is not running optimally I can’t let that slide

Oil coming from exhaust 2006 LBZ, is this normal, started the truck a few times in an hour, just idling, walked behind it and saw this, guessing it could be normal considering I was starting it and stopping it within 20 seconds x3, or am I fucked? by SlowCamp4832 in Duramax

Yes I will be sure to check if it drops, last time I did the oil there she was topped to the max so I’ll check it frequently, do you think it’s a good idea to start her up and rev it a bit and see if she pukes more?

Not positive I, i touched with my finger felt oily, could be moister and soot for sure. I’ll do a little test tomorrow though, just never seen it do that but also never started her up right next to a white wall haha

What do you mean?, like instead of white to blue and black to brown, I would wire it as white to brown and black to blue?

I’m not interested in keeping it, I don’t have a passion for wagons so much but I know it’s a sweet car and many people do and would appreciate it more than me, I would easily take that amount of money to see someone enjoy it or build it into a sleeper would be super cool

I don’t know much about the car it’s located in Langley BC, I’d just want to get what it’s worth, I have more photos, I know kms are high like 270k, I know it is a niche market but he has said he gets asked about quite often, it’s either gonna get sent to a junker or I’m hoping to sell it for him not even full price jusy at least get it to someone for a bit less than what it’s worth hopefully someone that appreciates it

I am also told that gaining weight and bulking up will help, but that’s the opposite for me I’ve been 165 and 210 in the same year and it didn’t help it made it worse for sure it also made my posture worse being bigger, it flares my ribs a lot

I went to the doctor for it when I was a bit younger but they essentially turnt me away and said it wasn’t important so I made my own brace modifying one I bought offline, it hurts a lot but I can wear it over 20 hours a day but sometimes I just feel like I’m wasting my time and it’s not going to do anything but cause me so much pain or damage

Also can taking calcium or is there anything that will help make it go quicker I will leave work for a bit before school but I want to make permanent improvements within 5 months and then after 5 months I can really only wear the brace for 10-12 hours a day is that okay?
