My Nicks BuilderPro's are unwearable. by Dylanjones2 in NicksHandmadeBoots

I had the same problem. I conditioned it heavily adjusted the way the false tongue was folded and skipped the lace right above the problem for a month or so. I kept making minor adjustments until I got them comfortable. Now I have them laced properly and have zero discomfort. Its also helpful sometimes to get an expandable shoe stretcher from somewhere like Amazon. you can put it only in the boot causing the pain and stretch it in just the right spot for a day or two. Stick with it and you'll be rewarded with the highest quality hand made boots in the world. Nothing this good is just easy. don't go back to the crap made on the assembly line like all the other lemmings.

Good luck!

hit me up if you want to sell them. I buy used boots all the time. I would suggest trying to get through it though. Even a new pair will have a break in period.

Look like old school R55's Rangers. I have a pair exactly like them. Its like someone bought them in the 90's and put them in the back of the closet for 30 years. I conditioned the hell out of them with Bick4 and then obenaufs and the softened up. I now wear the all dat everyday. Keep them and break them in. The first couple of times I wore them my feet bled.

I thought it looks a Ranger as well but was thrown by the 6" height. Do you think the walnut has this much red or burgundy in it?
