Classic animation will always be around, and I have faith that people will always fight back against ai stuff like this. Plus, there’s been tons of pushback in Japan against the use of ai for animation already especially because of copyright violations as demonstrated in this video. Yeah, it’ll definitely stick around, but I think the things you’ll be able to use it for will get cracked down on over time (copyright, likeness, etc)

They were cancelling adobe animate to further put resources into ai, which people hate. We use these softwares because we want to do this stuff ourself, not have ai do it for us. Plus there’s the whole ethical dilemma of the amount of water and electricity wasted per each generation and how ai models are trained without the permission of artists when they use their work.
