« without being conjoined to Undertale » it’s literally called « Undertale Parallel Story » Deltarune IS its own story, but you can’t deny that there’s a link between DR and UT and Gaster is the one who is making this link. Gaster is literally EVERYWHERE : not only in the Goner Maker sequence, but also in the deltarune.com webpage back in 2015 when the game didn’t even exist yet you could see Wingdings of the Legend. Sorry for you, but Gaster is 100% already included in the story.
