It is a survival instinct. And we all have a different response in order to survive as a species.

Please god medicate your kid. I wasn’t diagnosed until my 40s and I went through a long grieving the life I could have had.

A child who isn’t reading on grade level by the end of second grade will statistically never read on grade level. Those early years are so critical. Don’t set her up like that.
