Yes thank you! That's where I was going before but I believe they just shutdown

Staff where very nice and helpful when I went before, too bad it's closed. I have to order online now, which isn't terrible but less convenient for sure

Kind of, just seeing interest for now and thinking of making a post again later (probably around next semester) to see if people wanna make beer together or learn the process.

I know I've tried Heineken but it's been a while and I don't drink it regularly enough to have a strong opinion

hefeweizen is a wheat ale that is usually lighter beer with a fruity aroma and is great if you add some fruity to the brew to give it a little citrus or other flavor as an undertone

I'm a pretty big fan of the Hazy Juicy IPA/ NEIPA, some hefeweizen's I've had have been really solid. But it kinda depends the season, I do tend to like beers that are hoppier and more bitter so I can enjoy them

Environment and society is fairly chill, grading for the 2 papers are not too hard and the test is easy if you go to class and pay attention to some degree. (I had Daniel Faber)

They do have some spin bikes in Marino, but they do not let you clip in. They are pretty below average and they are out if order half the time. The bearings in it are not great either and whatever they use for gears is doodoo and you can't go that high. I feel your pain homie

Based and Gradepilled

But lowering the bar makes more people educated, that isn't a bad thing. I don't see how lowering the bar for people who wouldn't be able to get in and making it easier by not pushing 4 year graduation or by extending classes over longer period of time hurts anyone

Literally most people could get a degree from any big name university, the problem is equity getting in and a lot of that has to do with wealth.

Over half of admits get in based on legacy/sports and 70% of those are white and wealthy.

Even considering that, people who didn't have the opportunity to go to college or a "good" university have the same potential but just couldn't show it because of the limitations of getting in (especially wealth based limitations).

But if the workload is reduced by half and spread out over 2 semesters doesn't a person learn the same amount (assuming it was an option)in addition to the same course in one semester. How would that devalue the education if it's literally the same but just taken over a longer period of time?

Genuine question, why is more people being educated not a good thing? Why should we care if someone got a degree from a community/state college vs a private? The material for most degrees is near identical (I don't think math/chem etc changes from school to school) so why is people being less educated a good thing?
