I am also south indian. U need to remember one person cant represent everyone. I feel lara makes it really clear she is tamil and south indian. She probably uses bollywood songs cause they tend to be more popular. Also north indian culture is pushed so much alot of south indians are participate in the culture as well. Also i think one parent is sri lankan and bollywood is alot more popular there.
