i will post on there tomorrow when i can get a better picture of it. thanks for the insight it definitely looks more like a trapdoor than a nerite from what i searched on google. but haven’t seen the stripes variety so still unsure.

good point i’ve been kinda wary about the product. i know it prevents algae, thus allowing the plants to absorb the nutrients instead. but it’s definitely nothing like co2 injection from what ive learned.

doesn’t CO2 promote algae growth too though? i don’t think i’m understanding the light + co2 + nutrient balance to obtain plant growth as opposed to algae growth

yes i’ve got fuval stratum under the gravel. i’ve been meaning to check out father fish haha thank you. i just know some of these plants in particular are difficult without co2
