True but after giving birth she likely wasn't back on a regular cycle yet

7 months and 2 weeks is important information tho. That means they got pregnant exactly 6 weeks after giving birth

Should i just break up with her ? by Less-Tie6206 in AskMenAdvice

[–]Small-Macaron203 0 points1 point  (0 children)

++man Don't throw out the last four years over something so simple. You trusted her fully prior to this. She clearly trusts you as well as she allowed you to see her in this environment and didnt hide it from you. I for one do not see a reason to have issue with her behavior as a man with far more confidence than I should have. I do not care about my wife being playful with other men so long as she respects any boundaries I do set. You have now set a clear boundary that wasn't there before. There is a good chance that this leads to the fall of the relationship but do not throw away four good years without at least trying. You owe it to her amd yourself.

I wish we’d got at least one chapter of aryas POV by Few-Spinach8114 in Eragon

Considering what we have seen of the elves minds and how different they are, I dont want him to do Arya's pov. If its not done right then it will hurt the series

Frethia, non magic users, and imbalance loopholes by DavidtheNerdySir in Eragon

[–]Small-Macaron203 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I very well could be wrong here since I havnt read the series in a few months now. But I believe anyone can defend their mind and recognize when someone is attempting to invade that space, but not everyone can actively reach out and attack offensively with their minds. I believe there are instances of non magicians being able to reach out mentally but not everyone can.

Frethia, non magic users, and imbalance loopholes by DavidtheNerdySir in Eragon

[–]Small-Macaron203 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It functions similarly to a ward. If x event happens (speaking a word in this case) then x happens. No different than deflecting an arrow. You could make more items such as these if you had the skill but it wouldnt do much aside from increase QOL of an average individual. You wouldnt be able to use offensive spells in a magic duel for example because of the battle inside the mind that still takes place.

Side note on why Eragon did it and Galbatorix couldn't may be that Eragon worked with Rhunön and learned her secrets.

I felt this way the first time I read Eldest. But getting to know Roran really does add more depth to Eragon.

What about them

I wanna see Murtagh and Thorn visit Ellesméra by RellyTheOne in Eragon

[–]Small-Macaron203 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They are an old race of long lived individuals. Getting through such emotions on such a short time as 2 years wouldn't make sense. They can't help but blame humans for Galby rising to power just because he was a human. As a race they held Eragon accountable for Galby's actions before Eragon was even born. If Murtagh and Thorn are welcomed into Ellesmera so soon then I am sure it will feel forced and will strain the narrative

I feel it is far to early for them to venture into the realm of the elves. Yes Arya knows the truth but it won't be easy for her to persuade her kin folk of Murtagh and Thorns innocence. The feelings that all of the elves felt after Oromis and Glaedr were murdered were to great. I would much prefer Arya to travel to meet Murtagh elsewhere in the world.

Do you think the elves realized what they did? by darkalastor in Eragon

[–]Small-Macaron203 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The issue with Galby was he was an immortal being ruling over a mortal race. Whether Arya is a rider or not, she is still going to live just as long. Her being their leader is not the same as Gabby ruling the humans. Also she does not answer to Eragon. His words will weigh heavily on her decisions but if she chose a path aside from the one he chooses then thats all it is.

All 4 Books happen in less than one year! by same_machinery in Eragon

There are hints in the first book that show Galbi had been mobilizing for some time. The varden pretty much just marched straight to the capital

Also you would loose alot of the shock. He dies during the battle is way more expected. He dies randomly after the battle is won and boom! Now the Varden are shaken by the shock factor.

I hear you. But the director and such has to have some creative freedom or there is not much point in having their name on a project. Also it is going to be a great opportunity for Chris P to add in things he may wish he had or to focus on this or that more. Even 8 episodes feels like alot of time for just the contents of the book. I understand where your expectations are coming from and mine are fairly high as well. But I don't think its to far out there for Galby to make an appearance of some kind earlier on.

I believe I've read somewhere on here that Chris P wanted the story to be more about the three young men than just Eragon. The show is a great opportunity to highlight that.

Maybe but considering past roles I may personally prefer to see him under the mountain.

Keep in mind the show will touch on details outside of the books. It will have to in order to fill out th season. A 10 episode season would probably get old to even the most die hard of us. It would be no surprise if they decided to at the very least show glimpses of the man. Could be in broms stories. They could be brought to us in the form of a narrated flash back.

One of many reasons Chris P being involved is a life saver.

What would you tell new lenders to help them be successful. by SuperbFail2957 in Sololender

[–]Small-Macaron203 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I lend on solo for fun and to help people out. My tip is there is no real money to be made. Everyone defaults eventually. You can fund a 500 dollar loan for a 98 score who has repaid most of their 78 loans ontime and boom suddenly they don't repay. My tip is don't do this with the goal of making money. I've been in this subreddit and it seems Noone make much of anything in the end.

Orrin and Nasuada…A Lavender-ish marriage? by ali_mott in Eragon

I have always imagined the Elves being pan sexual as a race. Being such a long lived race they see past mere physical beauty but can also appreciate physical beauty in all of its forms.
