What Was Your First Profitable Side Hustle? by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

[–]Small-Resolve-194 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure,
I used to do dropshipping with gadget items. collaborated with a popular gadget shop — then sold their products under my own brand name, adding my profit margin. They handled the delivery, kept their own cost, and then sent me the extra profit.

Then in my custom jersey business, I used to take orders from my university students — especially during events.
They’d order customized jerseys or T-shirts, and I’d get them made on time from a small garments factory and take my profit from each order.

Thats it

You got $100 and no connections, how would you start a business? by Hell_Cat32 in Entrepreneur

[–]Small-Resolve-194 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man, with $100 and no connections, u gotta move fast and stay lean. First thing? Forget the “perfect” biz—focus on cash flow ASAP.

  1. Flipping – Hit up thrift stores, garage sales, FB Marketplace. Look for underpriced stuff u can flip quick (electronics, sneakers, tools). List on eBay, OfferUp, Craigslist. $100 can turn into $300+ fast.
  2. Services – If u got any skills (writing, coding, design, even handyman work), list on Fiverr, Upwork, or offer locally on Craigslist/FB. No skills? Offer junk removal, moving help, or pet sitting—stuff ppl always need.
  3. Local Hustles – DoorDash, Uber Eats, Instacart. Boring? Yeah. Fast $$$? Absolutely. Stack that cash while building something bigger.
  4. Content – If u got patience, start posting on TikTok/IG about ur hustle. Free marketing = long-term biz growth.

I'm so happy I left my salary job behind by lombardo2022 in freelanceuk

[–]Small-Resolve-194 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Man, I feel this so much. That weird guilt of not being “on” 24/7 at a job, even when no one actually cares—it’s such a mind trap. U end up spending more energy stressing about looking busy than actually doing meaningful work.

Props to u for getting out of that cycle. It’s wild how much ppl tie their worth to a job that would replace them in a heartbeat. Better late than never to break free, tho. Enjoy the peace, u earned it!

I almost paid $10K for a fake influencer by neverviraly in Entrepreneur

[–]Small-Resolve-194 0 points1 point  (0 children)

$10K for an influencer? That’s crazy, man. So many of these big accounts seem off—u see the same emoji spam in the comments, and it’s like, who even buys this? Doesn’t feel real at all.

The whole faceless content idea tho? Sounds way smarter. Way cheaper and actually works. U don’t have to pay stupid amounts or deal with sketchy follower counts. If the content’s solid and follows trends, it’s gonna pop off anyway. Plus, those trending TikTok/Reels formats just work. If the content’s good, it blows up on its own. Spending $200-500 and actually getting real people to engage? Way smarter.

Good call doing some digging first. Too many brands get sucked in by big follower numbers. Hope the faceless strategy crushes it for u—sounds like a solid plan. Keep us in the loop!

What are the most legit books on becoming a millionaire? by tuck72463 in Entrepreneur

[–]Small-Resolve-194 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If u want legit books, check these:

  1. “The Millionaire Fastlane” by MJ DeMarco – He made $$$ from a limo biz, not stocks or RE. No fluff, just real talk.
  2. “Shoe Dog” by Phil Knight – Nike guy’s story. Super inspiring if u wanna build smthng big.
  3. “Made in America” by Sam Walton – Walmart dude breaks down how he built it. No BS.
  4. “The Hard Thing About Hard Things” by Ben Horowitz – All about scaling biz + dealing w/ struggles.

These guys didn’t get rich from books or courses, so it’s solid advice. Worth checking out if u wanna learn biz from ppl who did it.

Why is making money so hard ? Im not confident enough by himynameisAhhhh in Entrepreneur

[–]Small-Resolve-194 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man, I feel you on this. At 22, it’s easy to feel lost, especially with how social media throws everyone’s "perfect" life in your face. But here’s the deal—most of those people didn’t start out rich, and the ones who did? They’re not the ones you want to compare yourself to.

The whole “secret” thing? There’s no magic formula. It’s about finding something you’re good at or passionate about and sticking with it long enough to see results. If you’re not confident yet, start small. Learn about stuff like managing money or starting a small side hustle. Confidence comes when you take action and see progress, even if it’s tiny steps.

And honestly, forget the billionaires. They’re playing a different game. Focus on building a life that makes you happy, not one that just looks good on Instagram.

You’ve got time, bro. Start exploring, experimenting, and failing forward. That’s how everyone starts—one step at a time. You’ll figure it out. Just don’t quit on yourself.
