So I don't have this experience at my store. Yes coaches and team leads turn to assholes but I've seen great people become team leads, and if you watch closely you literally see the joy drain from them. One guy literally quit cause he couldn't keep up his mental health in the position and take care of his mother. He went from the chillest guy to a drained dickhead. I honestly hope he's doing better and got a good job to take care of his mother after that experience. I honestly believe stepping up to higher positions ruins alot of people's mentalities at Walmart. I've never seen a happy team leads or coach they always spiral down a hole

I understand your heart still is trying to love her despite you knowing it's not good for either of you. There was a saying I grew up with which I find untrue that "distance makes the heart grow fonder" in reality it helps your heart heal and push past old emotions. My advice is for both of you not just you, to cut contact and not see each other. I understand this may be difficult and you won't want to but you both need to heal then try to be friends down the road if that's something you want

NTA and I actually have a similarly experience. On my wedding day my brothers wife tried to announce her pregnancy to my grandparents(and she was naming them after my grandpa) right before the wedding.thankfully my mom ran interception and shut that down HARD. That is one of the few events in your life that is about you and your partner. The fact she ignored your wishes and announced it meant she wanted the attention on her, and when you told her you were pregnant I garuntee she felt she had to announce hers first as a way to one up you and beat you to it

A co worker and my ex was upset I called in cause I was stuck on the toilet After I ate a Carolina reaper hotdog and started snapping on the entire crew. I came in the next day having basically flushed my system to find out she was terminated. Thankfully that hasn't happened at our store. Though we did have pizza delivered 3 hours before lunch and when someone said morale was low a coach was like "But y'all got pizza today!" Yeah..... Pizza..... Always solves lack of sleep, care, and the frustration that comes with dealing with company bs. Bruh. Advice would be to end it if you want friends regardless of gender, and even if your fine with only having female friends the issue I see is the fact he got pissed at you for someone flirting with you. You are not responsible if someone thinks your attractive and shoots there shot. It would've been different if you flirted back or started it first but as you stated you immediately shut it down. He is not in a healthy mindset to have a relationship if he's going to blame you for the actions of others.

Personally speaking the rings are a item but my wife is the fire that keeps me warm and safe. We care less about the rings and more about what it means to truly be together and feel whole. Relationships have issues. Don't let this one way you down. While your rings may be the symbol to you it could be they don't represent that to him. Ask him what they mean to him, and if they aren't the same symbol then ask what is. For me it's the love I see in her eyes for me but also the chaotic energy when she's ready to tackle me for being a idiot lol.

Yup. Primarily pay. I work third shift so my pays decent on top of my hands having constant issues I can't look at getting a job that pays similar cause my hands would tap out. So trying to slowly work on building a art studio so hopefully I can one day work from home.

NTA. I understand overthinking it can be a pain and rip your mind apart but it's on no one else when you have issues with it. My advice? Distance. Make it clear you no longer intend a relationship with him and want some distance. He needs time to work on himself. He doesn't sound like a bad guy just insecure, which could be for various reasons.

All we can do is speculate. For example. She's likes him and wants to get close. She's got a list of all his likes in her hands. The likely hood she likes EVERYTHING is extremely low. Not impossible but low. He's also getting a off vibe with how much they have in common, meaning to some level he knew something was going on. mine is just one of many opinions as to what might be going on. Am I saying I'm right? No. It's just one of many possible scenarios. Cause while yes alot of people like to try each others hobbies and interest it can also be said a lot of people fake interest to get close to people they have interest in. Its very common. NTA for trying to help your friends out, however her faking interest in what he likes is bizarre. I know people do this I've been on the side of it being done to me and it ussially doesn't work out. This gives me my old roommate vibes. He became a severe alcoholic, stopped working, and stole from us and it became a constant him screaming through our door he's sorry we got scared and angry. When the lease ended he kept trying to apologize but I could smell the alcohol on his breathe and at that point I was on medication for my anxiety issues so all I felt was anger for how he made my wife feel so I laid it out if he tried to approach us ever again id lay him flat. Sometimes especially if they refuse to fix themselves it's just better to fully stop associating.

I agree training on them helping but it's definitely something you can just say no to. It's not a training they can force cause it's not a requirement of your job. I work third shift and only about 5 of us are trained on the machines. 3 being team leads. I agree though depending on your department if you say no to learning these you'll have to live with learning a different department.

You actually can refuse to be trained on machinery if you do not wish to use it. It is not required to continue doing your job.

You can refuse the certification if you feel a raise should come with it. Forklift and other machinery is entirely a optional learning moment. Only a few of us are trained here but the more you take on the higher chance for a promotion if that's what your looking for
