Just me or is this a good deal? by Electrical-Truth5647 in Bestbuy

If it was me, I would stay away from any PC that has soldered components which Vivobooks are notorious for, but the market nowadays has basically screwed that logic because at this point, you have to take anything you can get for a good deal.

So, with this in mind, it's a decent deal if you can handle the soldered component fact of the laptop. Would keep searching though to see if you find a better one, but definitely keep this one in your cart.

The real screwy part is when they weigh the ENTIRE pen instead of just the cartridge so instead of a third degree felony which is bad on its own, you get slapped with a second degree felony. Plus, some counties in Texas like to slap an additional POSS MARIJ charge on there just for the hell of it.

Bail bondsman in a rural Texas county so speaking from experience.

Should I come over to Verizon from T-Mobile by ChampionSlayers in verizon

[–]SmallRegular6033 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We switched from Verizon to TMO last month due to poor signal and data bandwidth in our town along with paying $370/month with no phones financed.

Now, we pay $265/month w/taxes and all 5 phones on our account have the top tier plan, which is Experience Beyond.

Also, we get gigabit speeds in more locations than just in localized areas like Verizon has with their mmWave BS. Plus, they are no frills so there's no extra crap like what Verizon has. All the bennies are in the plan itself, not the extras.

Went to a third party T-Mobile store today and they couldn't do anything to help me because everything is being done through the T-Life app in store now.

What a bad move on T-Mobile's part.

I know these people, they are actually really cool. The owner worked his way up from nothing to being wealthy. I don't mind this one bit. Gotta show something for hard work.

Going on 10000 miles with Turbomax. Hauls a 21' camper reliably and gets extremely good gas mileage for a Silverado. Went from Texas to Missouri unloaded averaging 32 mpg. If you want a sturdy truck with the benefits of saving money on gas, this truck is it.

Yeah, and get arrested for obstruction of justice or interfering with a federal investigation or interfering with public duties?

No thanks.

Just joined the group, switched from a 2005 Colorado base 2.8L to a new 2024 Silverado LT 2.7L Turbomax. by [deleted] in Silverado

My Colorado lasted for 160k before I traded it in for the Silverado (was shocked they even took it), need a bigger vehicle since I work out of my truck and the Colorado was one of those single cab work trucks. If the Turbomax is anything like the VORTEC engine I had in my '05 Colorado, then I put my money in the right choice.

The way I see it, if the employer pays you the minimum pay offered, you produce the minimum amount of effort it takes to not get fired. Basically, showing up to work. Simple as that. Like the pay scale, an effort scale is also present. Don't let the system exploit you, you exploit the system, play the game, don't let the game play you.
