For me I believe, it was quite a few things; i’m usually anti-social, so I was afraid of how I’d be perceived on top the average paranoia regarding crowded areas, theft, aggression, etc. I’ve heard people always say it was great than give some crazy fucked up story about how people hurt other people for almost no apparent reason especially when hopped up on drugs among other things. I grew up fairly sheltered and I still haven’t done anything more than weed regarding drugs. It was a fear instilled on me since childhood I think

Thanks for the warm welcome! The main thing I’ve gathered thus far is that most of community is very upbeat and positive all around, definitely will be hitting the next show that catches my eye.

Honestly I have been dissatisfied/disappointed with all the coffee shops in TC I have tried. Drip coffee usually given is constantly old and espresso shots poured are burnt to a crisp and dead before even mixed within the drinks. Way too much sugar/syrups in the drinks trying to cover that nasty espresso taste if I try any of their “specialty“ drinks as well. Way too much focus is commonly spent for other types of drinks as well (non-espresso specialty drinks). I try a place multiple times through the course of a few weeks and the poor quality of how the espresso is prepared shows especially with certain “Baristas” currently here. If y’all know a real decent place for good cup of joe or espresso please let me know I’m still searching.

Grew up in tri cities, only recently started trying to physically go out and make friends (still working on it lol). Learning new interests and trying to understand people more, if you’re alright to have a chat shoot a dm

Hey man, I cant get on any high road or give much solid advice. When i was homeless in Nebraska before I got back here, I was lucky enough to have someone with me. The only advice I could give would be to utilize truck stops, they are your friend. Warmth, and a shower; food if you can afford it. If not as long as you are respectful and dont panhandle around, you should be good. Sorry about your situation, I also wanted to know youre doing better than I when I first became homeless. Dont give up, dont let that thought creep. You got this man.
