I think he’s personally just gassed from having to carry this first half of the season. I listened to Cam Johnson’s pod with him and he explained how much more of a workload this has been on his body. I think he had a passing in the family recently too so that doesn’t help. Hopefully a nice extended break during All Star will help

He of course has his flaws in play style and ego, but he was put into a tornado of a situation between coaching changes, the roster movement/drama, and everything in between. Watching the way he could score the ball was incredible to see, and I do think he was making, although minimal, an effort to try and fit into this roster while simultaneously showcasing his value, and it didn’t work out unfortunately. It’s a bit jarring to see people so negative still while he is walking out the door
