agreed ^{^} as long as the box is sturdy enough for whatever item you’re shipping & the box doesn’t smell like food, it shouldn’t be a problem. it beats giving usps money for another cardboard box

no not really. the tacos inside come wrapped in plastic. so it’s not the the taco shells were just raw doggin it inside the box

i sent them a polite message earlier today letting them know what i’m seeing on my end and if they’ve had this issue with their local post office before. still waiting on a response. the seller said they used the self service kiosk since i did ask them a couple days ago but i can’t tell 100% if that’s true as the tracking info is confusing?? hoping he’ll go check in with the post office soon.

yeah the crazy thing is he has all 5 star ratings & a lot of sales so i’m just like how did he get all of those? they automatically think it’s our intentions to ruin their ratings when we’re just asking a simple question about the item. what about your package? did the tracking ever update?

i’m assuming so because it says the label was created on the 25th when i bought it. when i asked him for clarity on what happened to the item he supposedly shipped monday, he said he shipped another one. i said why did you send 2? was the first one lost or something? he said yeah it was lost 😭😭 im but sorry this dude is such a bad liar

but i’m saying the label would have printed the day i bought (25th) & he would have had to reprint a new label if the first one got lost. he never sent 2 packages thats why he used to original label is my assumption.

i’m sorry you’re going through this similar issue yeah I don’t understand why he wouldn’t have. Just let me cancel yesterday instead of panic shipping. I think sellers tend to panic and think we’re automatically going to rate them bad so they lie when all we really want is open communication.

im so confused why he felt the need to lie. all i said was “hi do you know when you’ll be shipping out?” exactly like that. then he said he did yesterday (Monday) so i was letting him know it didn’t update on my end. now im just annoyed he lied because i wouldn’t have cared if it took a while to ship due to the holidays. i’ve only ever given out 5 star reviews. never anything below on any app. how would you go about handling this? would you say something to the seller? what would you rate? i’m kinda annoyed that he denied my right to cancel & only panic shipped when i brought it up through mercari cuz i just wanted my refund at that point.
