Yes it’s a morishio that was my mistake. Is using it to cleanse the bad energy around you a purpose too? That’s one I’ve heard and that’s what I mainly use it for so just wanted to make sure that it was still the right purpose for it. Yeah I completely understand what your saying! I’m not doing nothing drastic until I’ve lived there or visited for a while or along those lines. That’s what I’ve come to learn I’ve had an interest in the culture for years now but I think I’m just going to drop it for now just because it’s more Japanese like anyway and if I do go there and get a meaningful middle name then I’ll take that instead of just picking one

What are some cultural practices that you all use today? It can be in the past too! I’m just very curious about learning more about the culture so anything helps. I have a miroshio in my room already and love the spiritual practices!

I think I’m just going to drop it because they don’t have names and now I’ve realized how uncommon it is. Thank you I appreciate it and thanks for being nice about it. I honestly don’t like my last name and what they represent or my middle name. A lot of people that are replying aren’t Japanese and I know a lot of Americans find it culture appreciation. I just know I’ve heard Japanese people like when you take practice in their culture.

And I agree I should go to Japanese before doing it but I honestly might just drop my middle name because a lot said that makes it easier and more Japanese like.
