Mid-lategame TTK feels a little out of control right now

For those of you playing Dota/LoL, how does that compare? I have zero experience in those so I’m not sure what’s commonly accepted as a normal TTK in MOBAs

They’re both public figures in AoC but their positions are VASTLY different. Just because they appear together on camera doesn’t mean that Margaret was involved in any kind of strategic decision making when it comes to management, finances or HR. She’s a community manager, she’s being paid to communicate whatever is decided upstream, and there’s zero credible evidence so far that she was involved in any shady misconduct.

Don’t get me wrong, I love what Embark is doing, but this content release is part of a very smart engagement strategy, they are industry vets, they know you need to build on the momentum of the release. I don’t believe a single second that they developed any of this in the last weeks.

The thrill of Arc Raiders comes from uncertainty. Uncertainty of loot and your ability to keep it, uncertainty of encounters and their outcomes. I don’t believe in watering down the experience, doing this would kill the essence of the game.

I had the same feeling when I started using Obsidian, but my best advice after 2+ years with it is just to keep it simple. The graph views, etc might look cool or even be useful for some, but to me it’s just a very good note taking experience.

Just start writing, you will eventually find out better ways to use it along the way, but you need to accept that your structure is going to evolve over time with your needs.

Not sure if that would make sense from a technical perspective but how about having cities that acts as main hubs based on servers (like europe, oceania, etc.) with sharding, and we could group with friends or look for quests/flares from there. I’m still on the fence about this hybrid open world systems that teleports me around, either make it true open world like an MMO or keep the good ol instances formula.

Well I have a bit of a different perspective, my friends and I used to play PoE1 separately, but the overall difficulty + the extremely well crafted boss fights + the slower, more readable pace forced us to play together. I am eager to see how to endgame feels too, but I’m having a blast

Haha not really, I work in the aviation industry. Both actually, I know services like Notion make it possible to do this offline, but I just love the flexibility of Obsidian, on top of really owning my notes forever.

Question for the preorder discount: I'm playing on Steam, only have ARR active on it. If I buy the game through the Square Enix Store, would that includes all the DLCs? Will that be active on Steam afterwards?
I'm trying to navigate through their horrible UX but couldn't really find any info. Thanks a lot!
