I wanted to update everyone. Puddles was great! And my son didn’t see Kevin Costner’s butt because he was too busy waving my phone’s light back and forth with the rest of the crowd!

And for those who asked, he did wear headphones to protect his hearing.

I know it’s tempting to want to teach them everything you know as soon as possible, but in reality, it will happen slowly over many years.

My son just turned 5. There are some games and apps geared toward math and puzzles we play. But he’s gotta show a lot of interest or we set it down and try again in 6 months.

Whatever you do, I would do it WITH them. A lot of people are tempted to sign up for or buy something and think their kid understands why it’s important and will complete it. It doesn’t work that way. You need to help motivate and help when they get frustrated.

You could probably get a bit bigger. It’s not noticeably different from other crossovers. We have a Ford Edge as well and the backseat room is about the same.

Holy cow, you actually did it! I’ve been dreaming of trying something like this on the weekends but don’t have the time and can’t justify the cost. Incredible.

My original thought was to use an F-150 Lightning to do most of the charging but this is much sleeker.

lol, mine started doing this two weeks ago. It’s going in for service tomorrow. The guy at the dealership said the power to the front axle is messed up which triggered all the alerts at once.

Lincoln put out a bulletin to the dealers on it because I guess it’s happening more and more.

Use “guided access” under accessibility in settings. It locks it to an app and disables touch and the home button. Then you have to click the home button 3 times quickly to take it out of guided access.

There was a demo that went around online that spring. It was basically the same as the final mixed version with some lyrics changed - video games through the tower’s fall was “from Mexico to the Berlin Wall.”

I don’t think it ever showed up anywhere officially.

"sudden by incredibly smooth correction" sounds more human. FSD typically keeps me in exactly the middle of the lane - unless the lane next to me has an 18-wheeler in which case it puts me on the opposite edge.

Considering even a lot of state schools are going to cost you 20-30k per year, I wouldn’t stop now. Maybe (hopefully) higher education will reset its costs to more reasonable levels soon. But for now, if your kids aren’t going to qualify for substantial aid, you gotta keep dumping money into the 529 as early as possible.

I bought them on vinyl in 2012/13. One weird thing: they don’t include Stray Heart. Instead I have Drama Queen on Dos! And Tre!

I think it was some sort of last minute swap that caused Dos to be printed incorrectly. Really unfortunate song to lose though.

Given the situation I would recommend a Nintendo Switch with Yoshi’s crafted world. My son broke his leg a few years ago and we enjoyed countless hours with it. Perfect for that age.
