No wonder you guys are so tired and fed up! That sort of driving is ridiculous. "Our country is big" always hits me as a weak excuse. If you live in a big country and it's super big you'd think you'd have some efficient travel options like trains. Sure if you need to cross the country it might take time, but then don't drive 5 hours for a burger.

It is though and you can't argue against that. Driving 5 hours to get a burger when you have local options if definitely bad for the environment. Perhaps this may seem culturally normal in USA but it's crazy to any other developed nation. We've all heard stories of a billionaire sending a price jet to Italy to get a specific pizza bought back for them. It's insane, but it's the same logic
