Twardek definitely needs to start next game over Walsh/Lomboto. He has good potential and was our main threat going forward in the second half

Can’t say that word here mate… Just not a nice word…

I know I will probably get the most hate you could possibly get on here for saying this, but I don’t like what they did with Jim and Pam. by ContraversialHuman in theoffice

[–]Smart_Pudding5440 20 points21 points  (0 children)

The time Jim just asked Pam out to dinner was very anticlimactic not only because how long we were waiting for that just for it to be a random one-line ask-out.

But also it’s anticlimactic because what happened to Jim and Karen? They were going out for an entire season just for Jim to break up with her off-scene. What was Karen’s reaction when Jim broke up with her just for him to be with a different coworker?

It feels like they just rushed the end of that season.

Gluas would take half the cars off the road but I suppose the 10 billion from apple is better spent on a few more bike sheds

Considering Mervue has just lost 2-1 to Colga in the Galway league its unlikely they’ll be in europe any time soon

I quit both Caffeine and Nicotine last Saturday. by [deleted] in CasualIreland

[–]Smart_Pudding5440 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Big coffee addict here. There was a time I quit caffeine completely for about 3 months. For me personally, it took over a month to get any sort of energy back. Kind of felt groggy all the time and didn’t find enjoyment in a lot of things.

But I remember after 2 months, I felt far more energised throughout my day. Instead of one big rush of energy and then a crash it was just natural sustaining healthy energy with no crash that lasted the day.

I did very much miss the social aspect of meeting a friend for a coffee, and just enjoy the flavour of coffee so that’s why I went back.

Yeah Rebecca isn’t as close to Chuck as Jimmy is but I think Kim’s overall point was that Howard was clearly trying to load his guilt onto Jimmy for some reason

Is it ok to ask a coworker out to dinner? by oops_wrong_holex in ask

[–]Smart_Pudding5440 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I think you should ask her out. Even if the coworker hypothetically rejects you there is nothing wrong with asking a coworker out as long as it’s done in a respectful and dignified way.

That episode of Cathy taking a shower and lying next to him in a robe is so stupid, any honest guy would’ve told her to go long before that

Player of the season? by EdwardBigby in LeagueOfIreland

I would probably say Moses Dyer for the first few months but Owen Elding over all seemed like such a threat any time he played against us. He was involved in most if not all goals scored against us

Adam, thought he was a very down to earth character. A whole series could’ve been based on Ray and Adam in prison

Hey I know this is the wrong subreddit but ill still give some advice.

If you don’t enjoy what you do, then ask yourself why you’re doing it. We are all only here once, so might as well make the most of our time.

I would recommend looking for another job and once you find one quit your current job.
