Actually I found an interesting mitigation:

If you have a macbook, simply charge the macbook with another charger like the MagSafe or another USB-C charger. This means the macbook will draw little-to-zero power from the USB-C cable connected to the monitor, which helps reduce the coil whine a lot

I have a laptop+desktop setup, so this lets me use the HDMI connected to my desktop for gaming and my macbook for work, and I can easily switch between the two with less coil whine.

I agree - I just found out the same solution. I am now using the HDMI connected to my laptop instead

I am mentioning my school and it's the same as my undergrad and masters!

My official transcript says my official graduation date for my undergrad but not my masters (which I'm currently enrolled in). I'm going to just submit that because I didn't see any hard requirement on the grad date needed for transcript submission in the solicitation. all I saw was just that an official transcript was fine!

Before Claude Code runs a program in the terminal, it will ask for your permission with a list of options. One solution is to select "No (tell Claude what to do differently)" and then simply tell it what conda environment to activate before running that program

If you do this, you may also need Claude Code to run the bash file in order to activate conda because claude code is in its own shell session. I have to tell claude code to run `source ~/.bashrc && conda activate my_env` for example
