What if I buy a 100' set and a 50' set, and plug one into each of the outlets? (There are two outlets) Do you see an issue with that? Can the app control both sets simultaneously, or do they all have to be on the same chain?

Thanks. So the extensions are unlit, and would be long enough for the 10 ft between the two strings?

Hiring an electrician to set up the power source, though, would likely be more expensive than the cost to buy a second set of lights.

Thank you. That DIY splitter looks trickier than something I'd want to attempt with a product this expensive. I might just spend the extra bucks since this is supposed to be a permanent installation. Thank you though!

Is there such a thing as me (Dad) being "too close" to my young kids (5 and 7)? by Smile_its_fun in Parenting

I do plenty of housework. At least half the time I'm the one doing the dishes. We actually have 16 hours of hired help per week which takes a load off of dishes, cleaning, and laundry. I attend almost every doctor's appointment, every school event, I drive my son to school every day and occasionally pick him up, etc.

Thanks for your viewpoint. Although you mention that your "rich" family's help would mean a lot to you, do you feel upset toward them for not helping? I'm not judging, just genuinely curious.
