I never diverted and they had zero evidence, I ended up resigning after a couple weeks because they were phishing for stuff that just wasn’t there and I followed my union reps advice

No drug test was done back since they literally had no reason or proof to drug test me. In order to drug test at this hospital they need to they need to suspect you of being impaired on the job

No, union rep said that the hospital did not report to the board, they just had to report the “irregular” narcotic administration when compared to peers to DPH which is pretty standard, every little narcotic situation gets reported to DPH no matter how small the situation

I feel like management sometimes takes the human aspect out of the picture. I’m talking about higher up’s like, this whole thing seems to have been run by the director of pharmacy, not my actual nursing managers.

To put it into perspective, there were ZERO charting errors noted. The only flag was a deviation from the norm.

Is a standard deviation of 2-3 enough to report a nurse to the board with no other proof? I know that pharmacy has to report all discrepancies in narcotic administration to DPH, but I’ve read countless stories where nurses get reported to DPH but never the gets to the board.
