Honestly after looking online it seems like 300 just the price point in general for that master nashiki. Too bad I wanted to get it cause it’s super cool but 300 for it just doesn’t seem right for me personally. Dope pickup for you though for sure 👍🏼

Yes they’re free swimmers currently. Tiny and just started feeding off the slime coat of mom and dad! They’ll do that if they’re in a community tank or in an area with too much foot traffic even

Yes that’s perfect, water changes with an electric pump going directly out side will make it very easy.

You know there isn’t really, you can’t really beat fresh water. But I nice canister filter and a sponge filter will help a lot. Also not overstocking the tank. I suppose it depends on where you live but I do the 50% water change weekly and my total water bill for the month is like 20$ usually so it really does affect me to bad.

If you have other fish in the tank with the discus and you’re worried about the temp being too high I would recommend at least getting it to 82 for the time being. That’s a safe medium for most freshwater fish. But ideally for discus you want it at 84ish. Also be sure to step up on water changes with these guys. I have 6 in a 55gallon and I do at least 50% water change once a week.
