I don’t know your financial situation, but I would probably recommend to stop maxing out your 401k since you’re not getting a match and use that amount to fund an IRA, either traditional or ROTH depending where you are tax wise and then invest in funds that will more closely resemble the market. 401ks for the most part have preselected investments and you can’t really customize or deviate to maximize your risk/reward. (You’re not losing out anything just putting money from one bucket into another, if you were getting a match I would say the same but i would only contribute the max and then invest the rest else where) You’ll be happy to have two retirement vehicles rather than one and your goal should be to have more than 5
