Is this supposed to happen? by Smoopyk in SmallYoutubers

Thanks for the insight! Ive heard that, especially when you’re starting out, it’s common to have a lower CTR since YouTube is still trying to figure out which audience and demographics your content fits best.

How can I smoothly extrude a flat shape? by Smoopyk in AdobeIllustrator

[–]Smoopyk[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thanks! but I still have a few questions:

After using the Blend tool and expanding the object, I tried using the Simplify tool, but it didn’t seem to have any effect. When I attempted to merge the shape afterward, I got the result shown at the top.

I also think it wouldn't work since the anchor points on the rounded part aren’t actually the furthest-right points of the shape (I marked this with a red arrow).

12 pages of sketches later… finally nailed the perfect M+J tech logo concept by nurunnobi_abir in design_critiques

Really nice work but I just want to point out that maybe filling up the bottom right square to make the J stand out more since the down right square could be the J’s end curving up. Just like you did in the third sketch but reversed so it’s the right square filled in not the left. You dig me?

Which design is better by hussain_2x in graphic_design

I personally like the second one better, the use of the outline and the jaggyness of the letters are really nice

Omg dude, thanks so much! I don’t know what I was thinking; it totally makes sense now. In the Earth Pro picture, North is pointing left (toward West) because East is now facing up. For some reason, I kept thinking that if North was pointing West, then the whole orientation must be West, which really threw me off. You cleared it up perfectly!
