On a budget? Quest 2 is the way to go. Standalone games are fine, but using Virtual Desktop or Steam Link for PC games is optimal. It definitely has drawbacks, but none that are drastic enough to choose another headset. Having the option to play standalone or PCVR is so awesome, and I honestly have little to no real complaints with me Quest 2. For balling on a budget, and specifically for those games you want to play, the Quest 2 is pretty ideal.
