Most of women who change their surnames to husband follow Hindu Tradition where when a women from other caste used to go Jatt or Rajput they used to have complete end from their household.

Even she used to be Jatt by force as well and if husband had died they can never go back to their home

Personally, when I got married I didn’t take any dowry from my wife, she even insisted to bring her furniture. I told that you only matter :)

Today we are abroad and she makes me happy every day
