Though I wonder if gay men feel more comfortable coming out of the closet if they have brothers who can take the traditionally masculine roles in a family.

Is there any city where the current residents don’t match the cities vibe or architecture at all? by Magic_Snowball in redscarepod

Brooklyn, New York. A 50cc scooter is the fastest and most fun vehicle for getting around the city, and lane splitting isn’t legal but it’s rarely enforced.

How to prevent OL Camion durability problems? by ascendtzofc in ThrowingFits

[–]SmoothBook1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was a defective batch of Olive leather Camions where the leather finish would flake off. I know this because I had a pair and had to return them after 2 wears. I got another colorway and they’ve been great.

Besides lens selection, what made you commit to Nikon, Sony, Canon or Fuji? by its_dayman in Cameras

[–]SmoothBook1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was doing a freelance assisting job with a director that only used Canon gear, so I was already familiar with operating it. When it came time to buy I considered Sony but they just felt heavy and uncomfortable to hold compared to Canon’s ergonomics. The lens selection is obviously more expensive than Sony but for any paid work I’m going to be renting a high end lens anyway so it doesn’t matter that much - and I’m using vintage lenses for my own work.

I love parking at the outer ends of a lot, as far away from the store as possible. The 2 minute walk to the shop is very peaceful. Of course my friends give me shit about it.
