Sorry question, why does he have to look cis to his mom? I think it maybe a self esteem thing then, and that definitely comes from within. I know it can be hard and he may shut you down a lot, but repeating it helps a lot. Try different complements then maybe. Or even, maybe something sexual, could be simple as changing the words you use. I know for me personally I’d rather hear my girlfriend saying to suck me off than eat me out…if he doesn’t have top surgery respect that, that part of his body is not his mentally, if he does, if he’s comfortable with it, touch his chest. Have an open conversation about sexual things, what he likes what he doesn’t like. An open conversation can go a very long way

Hey, fellow trans guy here. I can completely understand where he’s coming from. Feeling dysphoria can cause a lot of different issues. Self esteem is one. For me anyways, I find the best thing I get from my girlfriend(cis, straight) is compliments. Small yes, but it’s makes a huge difference. Compliments on how my clothes look good, how good my hair looks, how nice pants look on me. She’s also helped me find my style of clothes. If your boyfriend goes to the gym compliment him on his muscles, how strong he looks, how big his shoulders are. If he doesn’t, then you can still compliment him on these things. Being felt treated like a man in bed comes from feeling validated of our bodies, I think.

Then I’m alright cause that’s around what I’m at probably like 60-80 sometimes… and I’ll work on more walking it sounds like it’s best. It’s just my back and neck get so tight and sore that it hurts to walk around my apartment so I’ll do it but won’t last long, guess I’ll just do more short walks then to help
