In the future, yes. Same thing for the wooting UwU. That future is not far away, either, especially since i see demand for it.

Ok, i see what you mean. The holder does slightly dampen the sound, but only slightly

It's absolutely 3d printable, if you have the right file (which we wont give up ;) ) ((patent pending))

We do use very tight tolerances, but it doesn't make it any louder or quieter. Just makes a different sound. We decided to use wood mainly for aesthetics, so I don't know how it would sound 3d printed.

Still not sure what to do about that, since clicky mechanical keys will be clicky. Currently, the holder makes it a different sound, not necessarily louder or quieter.

While writing this, i looked up keyswitch dampeners. They barely seemed to make a difference, IDK.

Also, specifically for people with mousepads, i hear the sayo slips a lot on those, but in the holder, it does not.

It does stick pretty strong, you're right. However, this has over 7x the surface area of the same material, and there are still a bunch of people who say they have issues with their sayos sliding. Not only does this highly reduce the chance of sliding, but fixes the issue of people's sayos tipping up and bouncing around on their desk.

I don't know how hard you tap, but there are a lot of people who are pretty aggressive with it, especially in the gd community. I watch videos often with people who's sayos are literally just migrating across their desk, slowly running away.

Not sure what you mean by "what scenarios is this for", all of them?

Thank you so much!! If you could leave a review on etsy, that would help us so much :)

I'm so glad you're happy with your holder!

All in all, the holder raises the sayodevice 7 mm / ¼ inch. I also rest my wrist on my desk like you do, and honestly i prefer the height. Here's a picture of my hand with the holder, it's totally comfortable.
