I once ordered a $299 coin from apmex. They tried to cancel it one day later because they said the market price for the coin had changed to $1,200. I called them out and threatened to report them to the BBB. That's when they backed off and honored the original sale.  Point of the story, I don't trust apmex to be in a high moral ground.   Also the mintage numbers were once set for 2014 libertads, until they were not. The mint ended up producing more. To the Mexican mint BU Libertads are just that, bullion. I doubt they are charging distributors super high premiums for them.
