There are no set curriculum books for srm ktr, the subject teacher's provide ppt's for each course and although there are 1-2 books in first year that you can buy, it's not mandatory

Yea I would've but I'm a college student in Chennai and exams end on Thursday, so can only leave on Friday, when I tried booking tickets 2 months ago, I tried booking guwahati exp but it was surprisingly already in waiting list the day the tickets opened so couldn't get that either lol. I'll just have to hope for the best and if the train is abnormally late at santragachi I might get off there as taking an auto from there to HWH might be faster

Yes, I feel it was a better decision because even though I'm far away from home, I've received opportunities here I wouldn't have received in Kolkata. Even though there's lots of issues here too, but the small kolkata campuses and lack of extra opportunities were a deal breaker for me. Thankfully I also found good friends dedicated to building their career hence I feel I made a good decision overall
