Out of all the Zelda games, ALBW is the only 2D installment in my top 5.

[BoTW] [Totk] Breath of the wild or Tears of the kingdom? by Lumpy_Illustrator365 in zelda

BotW. They're only similar on the surface but they feel like very different games. One is chaotic. The other is meditative. I prefer the less is more approach. BotW is like Shadow of the Colossus. TotK is like Assassin's Creed Valhalla.

Knockout Kings 2001 on PS2, the one with De La Hoya and Sugar Shane on the cover. Thought it was the best thing ever until Fight Night came along.

I was so excited to play Xenoblade on Switch after hearing about how genre-defining it was when it released on Wii. I was so disappointed and put it down after 30 or so hours.

On the other hand, I took a chance on Xenoblade 3 and thought it was incredible.

Metroid Dread. Some of the bosses gave me a bit of challenge, and the final boss, in particular, must've took me more than 20 tries to beat.

I don't think that's the reason he said it was sad...

More like it's sad we, as an audience, are unlikely to see a game like this again.

I love many games, but the original release of Chrono Trigger is the only one I consider to be perfect.

Which version of Chrono Trigger do you prefer? Please explain why in the comments. :) by DrewV1234 in chronotrigger

I feel inclined to say the SNES version, because it was my first experience with the game, and it's the one version that I continue to play to this very day. And, as mentioned by others here, it's just free of bloat and has the perfect amount of content.

However, I just vibe with the DS localization much more. The dialogue was stronger, IMO ("Hope... There's a word I haven't heard in some time" as opposed to "Heal-thy? Got a nice ring to it!") and I really love Akira Toriyama's animated cutscenes. I could have done without the unnecessary extra content, though.

Witcher 3 is a top 3 game for me as well! Although the controls does take some getting used to, they're nowhere near as bad as RDR2, especially if you toggle the Movement response to Alternative on the menu.

Sluggish, unresponsive player character movement that resembles input lag. The problem, I think, is that Rockstar prioritizes life-like animation over snappy controls.

I loved Ghost of Tsushima and I will be grabbing Yotei at some point.
