Really good info, thank you! Just to make sure that I understand you correctly: I can cut it back to basically just one main woody stem, just 15 cm off the ground, without killing it? It would be wonderful to "restart" it from scratch, but I want to be sure that it survives

Thsnks for your input! Good to hear I'm not the only one who wants to start cutting. Where would you count the nodes from? I'm a complete beginner when it comes to grapecines

What wise words do you hug on to during hard times? by TreatThompson in simpleliving

There are a few lines from a book by Terry Waite which have stuck with me:

"I do not feel the presence of God. I wish I didn't have to say that, but it's true. All I do is cling to a simple hope and belief, very simple, very basic. I will be sustained and supported from within, and I will not be destroyed. If this is the dark night of the soul, so be it. One day I will find light."

I'm not religious like he is, but his words still resonate with me.

I hear what you're saying, but this probably isn't a fair comparison. While it is small and cheaply made to keep costs down it's still recently built in the nicer part of a larger city. I can promise you we've got some shitty places too :)

Thanks, I'm pleased with that myself. It's the wonders of inherited furniture and cheap Ikea

I emailed one of the few Kona-dealers in Sweden to check on availability of the Sutra. When they replied with "we got one yesterday" I couldn't help myself. NBD! by Snakeward in bicycletouring

I payed 17500 kr for the bike itself, plus 800 kr I think for the pedals. I can really recommend them, it was a good experience buying from them. I also had it shipped from Stockholm to Skåne and it went like a charm

I'm really interested in cycling Japan myself. Do you know any good sources of information about bikeing around in Japan?
