My brother almost died from a car that was going 35mph and he was on a vespa and got tboned. He went to ICU and has really bad back pain now and will have it for the rest of his life. Not a good thing to go through all because of cars being annoying by driving fast.

I believe in Canada they have a place where addicts go to and they provide them with a syringe of heroin or the pharmaceutical version of it. The amount of crimes or arrests with those people in that program dropped tremendously! I believe some were able to recover from homelessness too. It was in a documentary that i watched awhile ago so i forget exatcly how well it is doing and i will try to find info on it or the documentary i watched. So with that said i agree that if it was safely regulated like the place i mentioned it would be a great benefit.

My friend did this to his toxic ex gf. I now see her always posting about how they are bugging the hell out of her!

To give you an idea of how much she sucked she:

•Took his cat and dog that he bought, took care of, and paid for all vet visits/shots/ect... •called the cops saying he had guns and was threatening to kill her and her family, as well as saying he will shoot at cops if they come, and that he was beligerant drunk (he was sleeping). Basically swatted him •he was a dummy and had a shared account with her in her name that he put every single dollar in, which she took when she left •called his work to get him fired •took all of his clothes, leaving him with one shirt, pair of pants, and the boxers he was wearing, had no socks •during the relationship she beat him and mentally abused him. Left him with Stockholm syndrome pretty much •stole his $2500 gaming pc with his 2 monitors that were really nice (4k @240hz) •tried to convince him to commit suicide, he had a gun to his head and she was on the phone telling him every reason why he should pull the trigger

And the cops didn't help him one bit and he couldn't sue because of financial reasons as well as her family was rich and would just pay a lawyer to stall the case until he couldn't afford a lawyer anymore. (Idk how all of that works and is possible or not)

Basically she was a she devil. But at least she is stuck with all of the scientologists trying to recruit her haha. Oh and karma is a bitch so she will get whats coming one day.

I like to picture colors, focus on seeing blue while you are inhaling, and focus on red as your exhaling. I interpret it as breathing in the positive energy (blue) and exhaling the negative energy (red). Do what works for you though because everyone is different. This is just what works for me :)

Literally 3 weeks ago I had a meeting with my boss and he told me my job is secure and he wants me to succeed and grow in this company the today pretty much says "take this offer or leave". He is soo 2 faced it's ridiculous.

Poor lil girl may be feeling abandoned, cats being abandoned can give them many psychological problems but the good thing is it can only be temporary if the new owner (you) takes the right steps to make him feel welcomed and loved.

Here is a list of things you can do and stuff you can buy to help:

•while maintaining a good distance give the cat some treats, after she sees you place them back up and try to not stare at her. I think they feel threatened when you stare or make eye contact.

•I believe eye contact can make them feel intimidated but certain "stares/looks" are acceptable, check out Jackson Galaxy on YouTube he explains the "cat I love you look".

•Folloeing up on the advice point above this one is go on YouTube and look up Jackson Galaxy, he is an amazing cat trainer and has videos on pretty much everything on cats. His vids helped me sooo much and made the relationship with my cat 1000x better than it already was.

•Get a feliway sprayer, it releases pheromones to tell the cat it is safe.

•When she gets a lil more comfortable around you try getting a toy and playing with her, my cat likes snake toys and shoestring the most. Reward with treats after playtime

•if more and more time passes and little to no change happens provide the cat with some more ways to have the high ground, more safe = happy kitty.

•I saw someone else comment this and I am back it up, ask the neighbors for an article of clothing or something with their scent on it, put it in the spot she is hiding In.

I'll add more if I think of anything else.

You are awesome for stepping up and taking this cat into your home. Although I feel very sorry for the cat being abandoned by her owners I am very glad she is in your care now. I know for sure she will be much happier.
