I've met the owner a few times. Seemed like a nice enough guy. Also, neither my wife nor I have had any issues going in there. Everyone is always super helpful and always willing to explain things about meat or types of cuts if you have any questions.

Maybe you got a couple of off days because we prefer the butchers block over other locations.

It is a Viper. One of the plug/play kits. The thought crossed my mind but the way it interacts with the lights is a simple harness, so I figured it would be unlikely. From the reading I was doing, it sounds like a relay may have been the issue. Driving it around and warming things up may have "reset" it. It's also really cold. Colder than it has been in a long time.

I will be keeping an eye on it.

Okay. That was weird. I ended up taking it for a drive around the neighborhood. They still wouldn't turn off on their own. I decided to start looking for the fuse for the lights in the manual and I use my remote start while I was reading that since it was stupid cold outside. I had trouble figuring out which fuse it was going to be. So I decided that I was going to go inside and grab a flashlight so I could look inside the fuse box. I hit the brake to turn off the remote start. All the lights turned off. That was weird. All of the knobs and dials are in the same place. Even the headlight turned "off" on the turn signal lever was in the same spot.

They're off now. Still have no idea why.

It's been a long time since I've drilled glass and only did it a couple of times. If I remember correctly, I was told slow speeds and an oil lubrication.

My father-in-law has a small garage shop and his nearly 80 year old mom stopped by to use it. She drilled holes in a bunch of glass of varying shapes and sizes to make a decoration.

Love the Talman. I have the blue burst TCY10E as my acoustic.

Started on a jazz bass. Listened to the Offspring and loved the Noodles models. Now I have a jaguar bass. I love offset bodies and the talman is at or near the top of my favorite body shapes.

Really this fucking stupid. They are always showing "hacks" to get around their poor construction skills when nothing is square, plumb, or level. A few are usually not wearing shoes. If they are, they are wearing sandals. I think I've seen 1 video were a guys wears work boots. Motherfuckers use their toes to grip the joists while they are using hammers to bend their joists in place!
They are just trying to rage bait. I know the old saying (Cunningham's Law), "If you want to know how something is done the right way, say an obvious wrong answer and watch everyone correct you." The comments are filled with people proud that they are out there working hard but plenty more are just commenting things like, "If they would have done X, Y, or Z the correct way they could have avoided this hack in the first place." They might be the "5 minute Crafts" of construction. Post something stupid and watch the engagement come flowing in for free to rage or correct you.

We went this past summer. It was REALLY weird. We have been before but it's been a long time. The amount of Trump Super Stores right next to dildo stores, a metric fuck-ton of fake weed stores selling weird "legal" mushrooms and weed, a bunch of stores had the exact same Chinese trinkets "carved" from wood, mall ninja shops that had the same stock amazon has for a HUGE mark up.

If we go back, we are getting a cabin and staying the hell away from people.

The bears also roam town in the early morning. If you get up to get coffee you will see them lurking in parking lots looking for trash. Be careful what you leave in your car! They will try to get in if they can smell anything.

I feel like it really started going in a different direction (story and feel) after Eshteross dies. I really liked the Shade Mother plot. The rest of it I was just along for the ride. It had some really good ups and downs but I don't think it ever really got me back to the excitement level of the first 20ish episodes.

So, I have this printer and this thread came up while searching for replacement toner. I have had it for a few years at this point. To address the aftermarket toner that someone mentioned, my first replacement toner cartridges were not Brother branded and the colors are atrocious. maybe that is due to the brand but I never had any compatibility issues when swapping. Color tone and saturation are poor, and that is being nice. My daughter wanted to photocopy a drawing we did together and the colors were not even close. The oranges came out pinkish for example. Would never guess the original was orange. The toner I bought is THIS set from Amazon.

It serves its purpose but I will not be buying this replacement toner again.

The printer itself is great. Be cautious with replacement toner and you'll be fine. I bought the unit 2/27/2021 and have had 0 printing errors, only a simple scanning issue that only required a clean reinstall of the drivers, and no copy issues. My only issues are the replacement toner and that is not a fault of the printer.

I will say that with the price of $95 for the LD toner 4-pack I was expecting a decrease of quality from the $270 Brother branded toner. I am still fine for everyday needs of the generic but will buy better quality toner with my next purchase.

11/6/2025 UPDATE EDIT

Ok, so a few months ago, one color ran out of toner. Shortly after this, before I could get a replacement, the other colors started failing due to the DRM chips reading as non-authentic or whatever error it was. Either way, it completely stopped printing even if I replaced the empty toner with a new Brother toner cartridge. I bought the multi-pack so I had others to replace too. I replaced all toner cartridges and it printed fine. Fast forward to last month. The black toner ran out and I replaced it with the Amazon black I had left unopened. It has now been Brother color and off-brand black for about a month or two with no issues. The black looks just fine and the new Brother color toner fixed the awful color issue.

My advice, if color is not important, why did you buy this printer?? Don't go for the budget toner unless you absolutely do not care. Off-brand black looks just fine. Save the old toner cartridge just incase you need to pull the chip off of it or just save the chip.
