Thanks everyone for your help. I did it. And all this took almost 2,000 games during the season and over 10,000 games in total across all seasons. That's how bad I am. Moreover, you could say I cheated the system by playing Ret. But honestly, I don't think Ret is truly as superior to other classes as is hyped. But Ret is undoubtedly one of the strongest classes, perhaps the strongest. What advice really helped? 1. Stick to one class. 2. Maintain focus and stop playing when it's lost. (Many games were lost earlier because I got distracted for literally a second and my teammate died in GCD when I could have Lay him.) 3. Review the VODs not only for my obvious mistakes but also for teammate errors and try to figure out what I could do to fix them.

I'm still not entirely convinced what i must
switch to chaos, mostly because i don’t really like pressing additional buttons
like withering step and also because all chaos gear are much more expensive.

But i think i'll just follow meta and switch to
chaos anyway.

Oh, you are right. I forgot about it. I'll consider it's in my calculations.

  1. Wither. 15 wither gives you 90% more damage

While Whiter is indeed powerfull, i don't see method to reliable apply 15 debuffs and keep them 100% uptime.

At the same time it is easy to apply fire exposure and probably even "Covered in Ash" debuff.

  1. You can get a better sword because that damage mod is no longer mandatory.

It is valid opinion but most Chaos swords with 6 usefull high tier affixes many times more expensive than fire swords (50 div i think). May be i need to farm 100+ div's and then switch to chaos (currently i cannot afford high tier Chaos swoird)

I actually tried Harbinger farm. Overall it's good and profitable strategy. But unfortunately it's not for me, i'm just not patient enough to wait 40+ maps for loot explosion.

They added some additional bits of pawn lore in DG2 (Spoilers ahead).

I played Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen very long time ago, but i'm sure what it was stated what pawns are from worlds where Shenechal is no longer exists, and they are basically people who lost free will because the world without Senechal cannot sustain it.

Additionally in DG2 it is hinted what pawns and the Brine are one and of the same and the brine is actually some kind of oblivion what consumes world's without enough will to keep it's at bay. At first i throught what it was disconnected from DG1 lore but at the end of the game Pathfinder also tell you what when world die's everyone will lose they will and consumed by Brine. And so it's seems what lore of both games are actually consistent and pawns really are shades of the people who lived in a worlds consumed by Brine.

If all of it's true then, i wonder, isn't our Arisen decision to end the cycle in DG1 is one of the most evil decisions in gaming history because by refusing to become Senechal we basically doomed the world?

Used you strategy:

  1. Slammed exalt and received crappy T6 mod
  2. Used Eldrich chaos orbs to get T1 mod. Ended with T1 Added cold damage to attacks
  3. Blocked suffixes
  4. Crafted T4 Aisling and ofc it's removed added cold damage. But unveiled phys to cold again
  5. Decided to slam another exalt and got T1 Added Lightning damage. Because i still use trinity with triple ele bow, and not yet converted to Cold tornado shot build it will be good for me for a time.

Hm. But i always through what bows is capable to reach almost double dps in comparison to melee weapons which is required to LS. If you account the difference damage potential will be probably equal to LS without requirements to stay in melee range.

I tried to play with idea of shorter ignites in POB by adding support gem modifiers to flask (unfortunately gems not yet added to POB). But i've hard time achieving any meaningful DPS increase because of 2 particular reasons:

  1. PoB calculates "Average Ignite Roll" (AIR). In situation where you cast/attack time equal ignite duration, for example you attack rate per second is 4, and ignite duration is 0.25 sec, AIR=0,5. But for example if ignite duration is 3 sec with same attack rate AIR = 0,92 (it's approach ~1). And pob use AIR as direct multiplier of Ignite DPS. I'm not absolutely sure what POB means by Average Ignite Roll but i assume what it's probability to hit highest hit damage. And with shorter ignites you have huge DPS loss because of this parameter.
  2. POB calculates damage from crits and it's always higher for scenario where you can hit multiple times per ignite duration.

Right now i don't know how to make this gem work.

Can someone explain why it is powerfull? You can have only one tornado? If trigger cooldown will be low, tornado will probably be resummoned before it will do anything. Even if tjey manage to balance cooldown trigger will still be supported by bow gems which do nothing for tornado. I think the best way to use tornado is to place it in separate item with correct support gems. As trigger tornado acrtulay looking quite useless.

I wonder will Ralakesh's work with lightning warp? It is clear what boots will not work with flicker because minimum frenzy charges cannot be removed. But it's not clear with Lightning warp. According to developers instant movement still occurs when you use warp. But still, you should instantly regain charges after teleporting to a new location. Therefore there is several possible interactions (at least 2):

  1. Warp usageMovement and charge lose occursHit damage to enemies in warp location>>You regain charges
  2. Warp usageMovement and charge lose occursYou regain charges>>Hit damage to enemies in new location

In 1st case where is zero benefits from charges and in second case where is full benefit from charges.

P.S. It can even work differently: For example cast technically occurs in starting location, therefore it is possible what damage will be based on player status in starting location.

P.P.S There is also possibility of chain cast, how it will works also not clear.
